Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. 1

Remove the peach stone and cut the fruit into small pieces.

  2. 2

Add the peach and one cup of water to a medium saucepan. Bring it to a gentle simmer over medium heat.

  3. 3

Once the fruit begins to soften, add the oats and remaining cup of water.

  4. 4

Simmer gently for 5–6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the fruit becomes jammy and the oatmeal reaches your preferred thickness.

  5. 5

Stir in the cinnamon and vanilla, then remove the saucepan from the heat.

  6. 6

To prepare the crumble, combine the ground flaxseed, honey or maple syrup, one teaspoon of cool water and salt in a small bowl. Mix until crumbly.

  7. 7

Combine the milk with two tablespoons of Zesty Lemon Sea Moss gel, whisking until smooth.

  8. 8

Allow the oatmeal to cool for a few minutes so it is warm rather than piping hot. Stir in some of the Sea Moss milk or pour it around the edge of the bowl.

  9. 9

Sprinkle the cobbler-style crumble over the oatmeal and serve immediately.

Kitchen Pro Tip:Add the Zesty Lemon Sea Moss mixture only after the oatmeal has cooled slightly. Do not boil or cook the Sea Moss gel. (Alternative fruits: apple, pear, nectarine, apricot, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries or raspberries).
